當行車移動時軟電纜可以隨著其運行進行伸展與疊卷,一般適用于輕小型行車。滑線與繼電器組合供電選擇圓鋼、輕軌以及角鋼等制成滑線,與車間低壓供電電源相連接,并沿著車間長度方向敷設滑線作為主滑線,利用集電器將主滑線上電能引入到大車保護框內,實現電控設備的供電。對于小車以及起升機構電動機的供電,可以選擇用其它電器,并利用大車敷設的滑線作為小車裝置的集電器。
